LGCM also provides a Christian Homophobia HOTLINE
+ 44 (0)20 6713 1095

This is an 24hour ansaphone service and can be used if you would prefer to leave a recorded message (in confidence). If you leave your name and contact number clearly we will acknowledge your call. However if you have no ansaphone we may give up if we don’t find you in!

One purpose of our wanting to contact you after receiving your report will be to ask, providing safeguards are agreed, if you would consider making some or all details public. Information of this sort, if you and we consider it appropriate, often helps combat the impression that homophobia is an insignificant or unusual problem. LGCM believes in exposing homophobia and those who practice or condone it. Homophobia is evil. It damages lives and communities and has no place in Christianity.

LGCM has also published a report Christian Homophobia: The Churches Persecution of Gay and Lesbian People with Recommendations for Good Practice. Includes definitions and case studies. The only report of its kind to have been published so far. (ISBN 0 9463 10 6) UK Price £5.75 (inc p&p)

Please send a cheque or postal order payable to LGCM (address above).
