South Wales/De Cymru LGCM

The South Wales/De Cymru group is a very friendly and welcoming group, and is open to LGBT people and their friends. We have members from Carmarthenshire in the west to Monmouthshire in the east. New people are always welcome to attend regardless of age, race, gender, orientation or any religious belief or none. You are guaranteed to find a warm welcome in the hillsides!
When and where do we meet? We usually meet on a weekday and in various venues across SE Wales.   Variations may occur for special events or to adjust for holidays.  Unless otherwise advertised, meetings always start at 19:30 with a short period of devotions followed by a speaker, discussion or event. Meetings end with some social time over a hot drink and snacks.
How much does it cost? We do not charge a membership fee for the local group. We just ask for a suggested minimum donation of  £1 at each meeting you attend to cover our costs, but it is not compulsory.  If you would like to join national LGCM, you can do so using the ‘Membership’ tab above.

FORTHCOMING PROGRAMME

 
Friday 9th January 2015,  Post Christmas Communion Service, at St. Paul’s Church, Paget St, Grangetown, Cardiff CF11 7LA. Starts 7.30 pm.
Saturday 17th January 2015, Extra-Ordinary General meeting, followed by Skittles, at Ex-Servicemen’s Club, 44 Charles Street, Cardiff at 12 noon.  This will be followed by the Post-Christmas Meal at 2 pm., at Bar Ikon, 60 Charles Street, Cardiff, CF10 2GG.
Tuesday 27th January  Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration  City hall, Cardiff.  Meet in the upstairs hall at 10.45 am.  to get your LGCM badge.  This event is organised by others.
Friday 6th March at 7.30 pm.  ‘The person who has most influenced my life’ at Janet’s in North Cardiff – 54 Heol Erwin, Cardiff CF14 6QR.
Friday 10th April.  Easter Communion at City URC, Cardiff CF10 3BZ at 7.30 pm, led by Rev. Gareth Rayner-Williams
