Flaming June in Nottingham!

WHO ARE WE?

We are a friendly social and support group for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgendered people who are Christian, or who have an interest in Christianity.

We have members from many Christian backgrounds.  Others are not Christian but just enjoy the friendly and caring social atmosphere.  We began in 1980 and are still going strong.  The majority of us are based in Nottingham but many live in the surrounding counties of the East Midlands.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We have one main meeting a month – usually on a Friday – in a member’s house or a church hall.  This can take the form of a talk or discussion or a social gathering.  We arrange outings, especially in the warmer months.  One very popular feature of our programme is our Sunday afternoon teas.  We also have regular devotional evenings and Eucharists.
