Rowan Smith, Dean of Cape Town Cathedral, has played a leading part in putting the Anglican Church in the forefront of working for lesbian and gay equality in South Africa


 
  Gene Robinson (right) and partner Mark Andrew. Gene Robinson's nomination to be the next Bishop of New Hampshire (USA) received the consent of the General Convention of the American Episcopal Church on 6th July 2003, making him the first openly gay bishop, with a partner, in the Anglican communion. Gene Robinson will be appearing By Satelite.

Christopher Senteza is Vice President of Integrity, Uganda and Headmaster of a Primary School. He is also General Secretary of the World Students Christian Federation, Africa Sub-region.


  Mario Ribas is a gay priest in the  Episcopal Anglican church of Brazil.


Michael Ingham,  Bishop of New Westminster, Canada, leads a diocese which has recently officially authorised the blessing of same sex relationships in its churches. The eyes of the Anglican communion are watching developments in Canada very closely.
